Hello Everyone!
Thank you for taking the first step towards better health. There are so many options out there and I know you have many choices. I started Greenleaf Fitness because I truly enjoy helping people change their lives. I believe that life should be enjoyed, food should be enjoyed and exercise should be enjoyable! I don't believe in the flashy diet trends or throw out catchy health terms. I emphasize REAL food and REAL life! No one is perfect and I am far from it! It's all about balance and finding a healthy dietary pattern that is best for you and your lifestyle.
I am also a busy mom to three amazing kiddos and know that by eating well and exercising I am setting a positive example for my kids on how to live a healthy life. I also understand the struggles that moms feel trying to juggle it all! It can be overwhelming and often lead us to feel undervalued, underappreciated and depleted, physically and mentally.
My unique approach focuses on the person as a whole and has helped many clients transform not only their bodies but how they feel about their bodies. My goal isn't for you to just lose weight or exercise more, it's to live a life that makes you excited to wake up each morning! As a Wellness Coach and Personal Trainer, I provide effective and attainable programs to guide you to your free-est self.
As a personal trainer, I specialize in corrective exercise and functional movement. Functional training is not a special genre of training. It is intelligent, purposeful training that is meant to restore movement quality, improve performance and reduce the likeliness of injury. After a thorough evaluation, I will formulate a safe and effective workout plan that is specifically made to target your needs and fit into your lifestyle.
As a Wellness Coach, I work with clients to help them establish goals and overcome obstacles that might get in their way. In these sessions, I guide the client to finding meaningful and sustainable changes that lead to a healthier lifestyle. Clients typically work with me for 1 month-12 months and since each client is uniquely different, the time in which we work together will vary too.
More About Me
I am a NASM Certified Wellness Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, Behavior Change Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Certified Functional Strength Coach, Youth Exercise Specialist and a Fitness Nutrition Specialist. I received my certification through NASM, National Academy of Sports Medicine. I also have a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University and am CPR certified. My specialty is working with women at all stages in their wellness journey.
